This property is the perfect country retreat. We had my 3 and 5 year old sons with us and they loved petting the horses and feeding the chickens. It was great having a full kitchen, separate living room and bedroom. You also have a lovely patio area to sit and take in the scenery. The owners were very nice and responsive. I was lucky enough to have stumbled upon this listing when planning our trip and couldn't have been happier with what we got. The warmest people, the peaceful farm, the gorgeous horses, the friendliest chickens, the cozy room, the most comfortable bed ever, the delicious breakfast delivered to my door - perfect. This place was so great that we're going to go out of our way to stay there if we are ever travelling through North Carolina again. Can't wait to be back. Lindsay is a fantastic host! She was waiting for us even though we were a little late for check-in, and she made us feel extremely welcome. The place is beatiful, better than the pictures and descriptions! We brought a dog and we all loved walking around the grounds and seeing the horses, chickens and other dogs. What as wonderful place!
